Education

Education for all ages is an important value in Judaism. Congregation Har Shalom offers Jewish learning programs for our entire congregation - toddlers through adults.

B’nai Mitzvah Program

The next two-year cycle of the B’nai Mitzvah class will begin in the Fall, taught by Primrose. This class is for children, ages 10-11, preparing to become Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, as well as for adults looking to have a Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony.

After reading the course information on the signup form, please feel free to reach out to primrose@harshalomdurango.org if you have any further questions.

Your family must be active members of Congregation Har Shalom to sign your student — or yourself — up for this course.

This class is for those interested in reconnecting to their Jewish roots, exploring Jewish life and values, and/or learning for a future conversion process. This is not currently being offered, but may be in the future.
